Meet the Candidate

Welcome everyone! I am Robert Aguilar, but to many of you I am known as Bob or Bobby. I am the current appointed incumbent for Area 1 of the College of the Sequoias Board of Trustees.

As a dedicated advocate for educational equity and community growth, I bring two decades of experience in public education and over three decades of legal experience.

My professional background includes sitting on the boards of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, Kaweah Delta Hospital Foundation, Michael Young-Lupe Sanchez Youth Foundation, and the COS Giant Foundation. I am deeply rooted in our local community, having spent my entire career in Visalia, California. My qualifications for the Board of Trustees are built on a foundation of integrity, a commitment to transparency, and a vision for a future where community college is a pathway to opportunity for all.

I look forward to connecting with each of you, and working together to ensure that College of the Sequoias remains an institution that provides all students the knowledge and skills necessary for their future success.
